About

James is an illustrator, graphic designer, animator and filmmaker.

He graduated from San Francisco State University cum laude, where he double-majored with one degree in filmmaking, and the other in fine arts, drawing and painting emphasis. He also has an Associates from El Camino College in Torrance, near where he grew up in El Segundo, California.

James has taught Photoshop and graphic design at two local Denver-area colleges, and has led workshops for teens in filmmaking. He's the associate producer of an upcoming narrative feature film.

When not teaching or freelancing, he enjoys playing guitar, dreaming up screenplays, working on sets, motorcycles, cooking, reading history and biographies, or just hanging out with his wife since 1995 and/or some combination of their four kids.
